Saw the band the first time at the PA Ren Faire. Amazing to say the least. My son told us he did not like bagpipes before the show, but he convinced him to listen. He is now a big fan.Missed the show Friday in PA, but was wuite happy to find that you were palying the MD Ren Fest. Made the trip down just to see Albannach playing live again. Thanks for the music that moves the soul.

Wow, I can't believe another person from "The 'Shire" (New Hampshire) got hooked into Albannach, too. It's a microscopic state, hence my surprise. You guys are an awfully far-reaching band! Anyway, I've been in Maryland for several years and I go to the Renaissance Festival every year for a much-needed recharge. In fact, it's the high point of my year. Despite that, it was a complete fluke that I was there today, and the very first thing I heard when I walked out of my car was the sound of tribal drums (my favorite). I rushed through the gate, went straight to the drums, and I was electrified by your performance, energy, and music. It was infectious, and exactly what I needed to cheer me up. I ended up catching your second show of the day, and the third (sort of) by way of my walk to the car, which was parked right outside the stage. The very last thing I heard when I left the festival was (again, my favorite sound) more Albannach drums. I'm so happy I found your music and that I had the privilege of seeing you live. You are all amazing, and thank you for doing what you do.

The Weather was great,It was a crush. I am talking about Pipes in the Valley. After last year I can't say I blame you all for not returning, Let me just say that It was FAR from anything you all do. I left and came home to watch my DVD and listen to my CD's of you and the Red Hot Chili Pipers. No one could hold a candle to you. I wish I had been able to find a way to Loon. Crazy missed you this year!

I went to the Highland Games in Lincoln, NH. I've been intending to go for 20+ years, and finally got there. My original interest and sole intent was to watch the athletic events. However I was with other people and we wandered around. During our meanderings, we stumbled across a tent with live music and decided to get out of the sun. You have no idea how glad I am that we stopped and took a seat. Because the next thing that happened was Albannach came on stage. Wow! I am into a variety of music, but I had never seen, heard, nor FELT anything like this music. You folks are amazing and I thank you from the deepest reaches of my soul for your energy, your uniqueness, your sense of tradition and your music!!

My grandparents came here from Scotland when they were first married and ever since I was a child, they fostered a deep love and pride in me for all things Scottish. I have been going to the Games in NH for nearly 20 years, but the last few have been the best because of Albannach. I love your music, your energy, your obvious devotion to your Scottish heritage. Every time I hear Davey sing the ballad about William Wallace, I become very emotional. I didn' think I could love you guys more until I saw Jamsie up there with the Ted Williams shirt on. As a serious Red Sox fan whose hero is "Teddy Ballgame" I was thrilled to see that shirt up on stage! You guys are the best and I pray that you go on for a long time to come. Thanks for all the joy you have given me.

James -thanks for posing for some pictures with us in the beer tent. We bought some Albannach CD's and listened to them all the way home. Looking forward to seeing you again next year.

Saw you guys at the Loon show, absolutely awesome! That is the first time in years I have gone to see a band and done the "see show, drop jaw, buy t-shirt, buy CD" thing. The energy you all have on stage is mesmerizing, intense, infectious, and irresistible. It was a pleasure to buy you guys beer, sorry they wouldn't let me bring it into the show tent, I hope you got to pick it up after! I wish you all the best in the future, may you continue to be a constant reminder, to all, of the raw power and passion that feeds Scotland's soul. Thanks again for a great show!

Hello! I just saw Albannach for the first time today at the Highland Games at Loon Mtn. WOW!!! It only took about 5 seconds of listening and watching to completely fall in love! I've always loved drum-heavy music and I have Scottish heritage so the Bagpipes have always given me goosebumps. I also love to dance and it's impossible not to when experiencing Albannach live! FANTASTIC! You have a new fan! Hope to see you at The Games next year! 🙂
