The first time I heard your music from accross the fairground in N.H. I was drawn to it, and to my surprize My son loved it as much as I did. We will be returning to the Highland games in N.H. again this Sept. to see your band perform.
Oh My GOD! That was sincereley one of the coolest shows I have ever seen. I come from a musical family that had power cables, amps and microphones everywhere around the house. Though I did NOT inherit the musical gene, I DID come to appreciate the magic of live music. With that said, let me say that my Sisterhood Sisters and I had a B L A S T at your three sets on Saturday September 1, 2007 in Pleasanton CA USA. I kinda was awestruck at the energy energy and more ENERGY, passion and life you breathed into those songs. They really make me want to go and conquer the world. I think I need to order the other CD since I only picked up your latest one at the show. With all that said, please oh please come back to Northern CA USA sometime soon. If you were here, I'd make dinner for all of you as a thank you for sharing your mind-boggling, awe inspiring show. I really would....If anything, come back to The Highland Games in Pleasanton, CA for next year. I actually forwarded your links to friends in Europe so they can catch your show. Best of Luck, Peace Love and Tie Dye Baby!Sword Slag
This music has the type of energy and dynamic I have been looking for in a celtic rock band for a long long time. You were recommended to me by a mate who saw you in Edinburgh and said you were something else. How right he was.
Albannach is fantastic! My mum, sister and I saw you this past weekend at the Pleasanton games and thoroughly enjoyed your show. My mum is from Scotland and use to play drums when she was younger and she so enjoyed watching you all play. We hope to see you in California again soon! And don't worry...the audience will grow as your name becomes known out west...and all of us who saw your show this weekend will be spreading the word!
:happy:My fiance and I truly enjoyed your rocking show at the Pleasanton Highland Games. My fiance is Celtic (Irish) and I'm not a clansman -- but a wannabe! Your afternoon set was one of the highlights to our faire experience!
I was up visiting my sister in San Jose, we made it to the pleasonton games, you were amazing!! Your energy and passion came thru in your playing, fan bloody tastic!!! My parents were from Glasgow and the rest of the family are still there. I go back when I can, but there's nothing like a little Scotland in California. I'm in LA hopefully you'll tour this way in the future? By the way...Jamesie...will you marry me? ha ha ha ha
We just saw you for the first time in Pleasanton. You guys were awesome! Our kids absolutely loved the shows as well, and had a great time dancing for you. Thanks for coming!
Saw you for the first time at the Pleasanton games... absolutly awesome. Hopefully you come back to the games next year! Next time I visit the family in Aberdeen, I will try to see you play in Edinburgh! Also, what is the symbol you use for your logo, what does it mean? Have a great tour.
I and my father went to the games yesterday in Pleasanton. We have such a longing to go to Scotland to see our roots, but alas it just has not been able to happen. Seeing our fellow clansmen and hearing Albannach has just so renewed the fire. I have never heard this type of music and much to my surprise even my father enjoyed it. I have no words to express the feelings your music has brought up in me. I have been listening to your music all afternoon and am just haunted by the emotions it continues to bring up. THANKS!!:happy::kiss::wink:
Saw you as support band for Status Quo , should have been the other way round , your style , music , and the way you add life to it is amazing , also to have a radio link on your homepage , just fantastic , all I have to do now is buy your cds and dvd , One Very Happy Fellow Scotsman , keep rocking your the best !!
You guys were AMAZING this weekend at the Pleasanton Games (despite the rotton weather)! It was also great that you made it to the ceidleigh at the Marriott. Hope to see you around next year! (And Kiyoko and I will stop with the "A--YA" jokes...)
What a luck of the draw... I missed the Sacramento Games in Woodland this last year and so I opted to travel to Pleasanton. I had expected the Wicked Tinkers but not you guys. If you could ever consider it at the end of April next year... please oh please see if you can cross the country and make it to the Sacramento event. It would be great to watch you perform live without the bloody hot sun backing you to death. Best of wishes.
You folks are awesome~ Pleasanton Games...Being of Scottish descent, your music hit down deep into the genes, the roots, deeply as if I experienced the music like my own ancestors... Look forward to hearing more of your work.
