I was working the First Aid Booth at the Maryland RenFest and talked to Davey about when I was stationed on the USS Simon Lake (AS 33) out of Holy Loch, Scotland by Dunoon. Thank you so much. It was really nice listening to your music. I regret I didn't bring my digital camera. I ended up buying both CDs and your DVD. And I SWEAR TO GOD.. Kyle looks like someone I know. -- TJ Tropea --

I had never heard of Albannach before the last weekend of the Maryland RenFest. My family and I were told just to sit at one of the theatres and listen to the band that would be playing next. Then all of you came out and just started playing. I couldn't believe the music I was hearing. It was amazing! It was so beautiful that I could feel energy flowing around the seats from person to person. I was amazed and absolutly stunned. I bought both of your cd's and listened to "Eye of the Storm" on my way home. Just hearing "The Uprising" gave me chills. It was beautiful beyond all words. It made me feel proud to be Scottish!

My sister and I were absolutely blown away by your performance at the RennFest on 10/21; you guys were AMAZING!! I will definitely buy both CDs because I am now a huge fan. :surprised: That last performance was so powerful and energetic that I started moving to the music without realizing it. Come to MD again, you guys kick ass!

INCREDIBLE!! Your performances were the highlight of the fair. You all should perform in Puerto Rico. Our entire culture revolves around music (as well as food & liquor, of course) Kyle- incredible drumming. Your style of drumming is adorable with your head cocked to the side. Donnie- amazing set of lungs. I live bag pipes and it's been a LONG time since I've heard someone play so well. Jacquie- way to make the boys keep up. Love how you used maracas to play your drum. Davey- loved the song you sang, amazing playing. You're adorable. Jamesie- incredible drumming. What you were feeling was pouring out to the crowd. Aya- beautiful energy. I loved your little dances, they were wonderful!

I had never even *heard* of you before I saw you today at the MD Ren Faire. After just hearing part of your first show, I bought both CD's and the DVD. Your music is astounding in ways language cannot express. You aren't just musicians: you are avatars of the fire, passion and essence of the Scots.

Took my daughter to the Maryland Rennaissance Festival today (10/20), but she had an appointment later that afternoon. We heard your band start up before we needed to leave. We were both awestruck! Your sound and rythyms were infectuous and moving! We stayed as long as we dared, unable to tear ourselves away, but eventually made the appointment. I'll be ordering tonight! Appreciatively yours,MW

WOW!! I saw your VERY talented group for the first time at the PA Ren Faire on October 13. Unless you've see them in person, you would not believe the energy that goes into this music and then flows out to the audience. I certainly hope they return to next year's faire! Job well done!!!!
