Pleasanton Highland Games Sept 3rd 2011

WOW, Loved it. Hubby and I are hooked. It was a blast, we had time together. First time we got away with just the two of us since our honeymoon in 1992. 

We met some very nice people there and sure enjoyed visiting with them. To those that we didn't find on Sat. Sorry we missed you, hope to get to meet you next year.

As for hearing Albannach play live for the first time. WOW  :bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce
It can take a lot to impress my husband, music wise. He really had fun, and for a man that can't carry a beat or rhythm in a bucket. He was right on it and said he even felt like dancing. HMMM no beer required. This could be a grand thing. LOL Normally I have to get at least a 6 pack in him before he will dance. Watching the Nach play, he was sorry that him hip and knee were giving me grief. He wanted to dance. OMG never in 20 years has this been the case.
Thanks Albannach, we had an awesome time.  I will post pictures, just not sure where to put them on here? The picture area? I don't want to over load the system. Funny thing. We didn't even get one good one of J. Got awesome pictures of the rest of Albannach though. I will be putting them on my Facebook page.
Hubby is thinking we need to hit an East Coast venue so we can meet some of the cracker club ladies. LOL look out East Coast.

YEA!!!! Sue, I'm so glad you FINALLY got to experience them LIVE!!!

As for that idea about hitting the east coast ....PLEASE, DO IT!!
I'm still thinking Ft. Myers would be grand!!! we could do the "presentation" together!!! ......think about it!!

LOL Scarlett, I really am shy in public. I approach J. one time and just couldn't bring myself to even say hi or glad you are doing well. UGH I would have to be so drunk to be there for that. And then who will carry me back to the car. I sure don't weight 135lbs anymore.

We will see what we can do, no promises for 2012 though.

Sue! drunk is NO PROBLEM!!!  LOL
and if you get drunk at the tiki bar in Ft. Myers, all you have to do is stagger back to your hotel room!! :drunk
after my 1st drink, all my shyness goes away....so, you can just stand beside me for moral support!! hee hee!
Please try to make it down in January!!

anyway, I'm so pleased you finally got the chance to see them perform!

I will look into it. I just need to stop buying mini's. Since my barn is now full  :red it should be easy to not buy anymore. Hubby is still wondering how two mini boy's turned into a breeding farm with two mares both could be in foal, two colts and one filly. Even my head is spinning.

I will see what can be done, send me a PM on the details or airport and hotel. Still, not sure though.
I can see it now, I had better bring the walker just in case, not sure if the cane would do when drinking. Don't want to topple over and dislocate, course I wouldn't feel it till morning. The brace you have to wear if you dislocate doesn't really go with my mini breeding plans though  ;)

Still not sure why you want to have an old used up cowgirl come party in FL though. Honestly, I am pretty shy in public and feel out of place. Put me in a big city and I might not survive.

Thanks for the pictures. You do take good photos. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with you also. Looking forward to next year. We plan on making it for the entire weekend next year.
