So excited, have to share!

Hello all!  I just recieved my acceptance letter to nursing school!   :bounce :bounce :bounce  I begin my classes in the fall and I am so excited!!!!

My niece is currently in Nursing school (first year). Nurses rock!*

Thanks Sas!  This is actually my 2nd go round with nursing school.  Life got in the way the first time around.  Now I'm older, the kids are older and not in need of constant care.  This is my time to rock it!

Congrats...are you going for your RN?..I was a LPN for 20 odd years, and loved it..It's a great life's work!!!

Yep, RN!  I've been in medicine for about 14 years and it's my time to quit wiping butt as a CNA and start kissing butt as a nurse!  Lol!

They certaily do. When my dad passed last year the nurses were wonderful, not just taking care of him but of the rest of us as well. I'll never forget their kindness.

Congrats! Nursing school is really hard work, but worth the effort. It's a second career for me as well and I'm glad I did it. If you ever have any questions or need to vent (because you will!)...feel free to holla!

Seemed like an appropriate thread...I got a promotion today :) It has it's down side - spending a lot of time in TX over the next few months, but the project is something I've been working on for a couple of years and I get to see it though so that's cool.  And I suppose it never hurts to give your resume a boost :)  Going from a plethera of free time to having to schedule it, which will probably be good for me.  LOL
