How the heck did I miss the announcement that the Nach would be at Murphy's Tap Room on June 9th!??!

I am loving that you guys are dabbling more in the Northeast!

when i was there a few months ago i made sure to ask where the performance area is typically- they have a courtyard area outside and i was told (with good weather of course) that they set up and play out there. not sure about age though...

As our pipe band (NH Pipes & Drums) are doing a guest set to open the show Thursday, I emailed Karen this morning and she said Albannach
are going to be playing all their booked engagements so Thurs. in Manchester is on. I can't imagine Jamesie will be in any condition to give
his usual all and will surely still be recuperating for a few weeks before he can retake the stage but you know that Aya, Jacquie, Donnie and Colin
will give it their all in true Albannach form! A speedy recovery to Jamesie (and Colin as well!).

So glad that the tour will go on, even if we have to miss seeing Jamesie jump around!

The last contact I had with Jamesie, prior to Sunday of course, he asked that we (NH P&D) do a set somewhere around 8-ish. Albannach
were/are planning to do a 1st set at 9:00-9:45 and 2nd set 10:15-11:00. May be subject to change of course but that was the plan as
of last week.

Not 100% positive if there is an actual "doors open at" time. I went to Murphy's last Thursday evening to see the layout. Was told if the weather is
nice, will probably be outside on the patio and if the weather is bad, inside downstairs (small room/stage!). Supposed to be a sweltering summer-like
day tomorrow with chance of afternoon/evening thunderstorms. So it's anyone's guess on where it will be held at this point. The patio would probably
be better as it appears it will hold more people, there's also an upper deck with tables and chairs. Just hard to say if the heat and/or thunderstorms
will be an issue. I suspect if you showed up anywhere between 7 and 8, you could possibly go out to the patio or downstairs, whichever place they
decide to hold it.

Ashley will be there! She get's to use the "I'm with the band" ticket! Already cleared it with Murphy's.

449 shots taken. Would've been more, but I "wasted" battery during the storm earlier in the day.

It was a great, brilliant show. Aya stepped into some large shoes, and did well on his first time out.

I agree! It was great to the the band again! I hope the Taproom will have them back in a big hurry!

It was a good show! The band was really drawing people in off the street. I dare say this was a new sound for Manchester. I also saw that group of kids on bikes stop dead in their tracks to listen. One of them came around to the side to watch Aya in amazement. Before I had to leave, I was approached by the manager of Murphy's who was circulating in the crown trying to figure out who came for the band and who was just there for the beverages. This was his first Nach experience and he was blown away! I only saw the first set. Did the rain stop enough that they could play the second set?

Yes indeed! Finished up right at midnight. My poor wife had to be up at 5:30 for work, and we got home right at 1.

It was a great show! The band was great, too bad about the rain slowing things up! I dare say they made an impression for sure on Manchester. Can't wait to see them again at Loon in Sept.

that was my first time at Murphy's...when I go to Manch'vegas, I'm usually else where or I just go to the Seacoast; Portsmouth / Dover or to Amesbury / Shrewsbury

band did great over all...nicely adapted to a tough situation; looking forward to Jamesie's coming back

whats in shrewbury and amesbury, never heard of those towns, i hear of towns ive not heard of all the time in nh lol
portsmouth i hear yah, i like the down town area, lots of good pubs and i haven't hit all of them , only a few, like the lamplighter but even that was years ago, still haven't done the brewery tour yet.

live venue's that bands have asked me to shoot & they are in MA just down Rte 1 from NH along the coastal routes...if your looking for the traditional New England shot's...follow Rte 1 from MA into NH and ME, you'll get a ton of them
