WNC celtic festival Black mountain

You guys prob know by now that the band plan to record live at the WNC celtic festival in Black mountain NC this June....we sure would like all fans close by to come along and help make as much noise as poss for the recording....am sure Nach fans are up to the task!

You know the Fisch Clan will be there...w/ beers on (forget the bells!)!!!   :drunk

Ya'll bring the beer, and Pappy and I will wear the bells! I don't know how familiar you are with the area, but any suggestions for camping besides the KOA listed? KOAs are campgrounds for peeps who don't know how to camp.

Sorry Pat, I really don't know of anything in the area.  Asheville is only a 15 or 20 min. drive down the road, though--there are tons of options there!  Btw, could you please send some Florida sunshine and warmth our way?  We're in dire need!

She may be able to now, but on Sat. we all froze our hinies off :)  Although, I shouldn't complain as when I got home it was only 20  :roll

Saw some of those at Winter Springs from one of the gentlemen spinning around in a kilt a little too enthusiastically. Yep...but that's ok...his :% looked better than his face!  :evilgrin

quoted me a rate of $99/night (code: WNC), but a note fm Celtic Heritage that said he believes it will $109 after/on Monday.

Soooo, if you are planning on staying there (looks like a decent hotel) you might consider booking this weekend.  ??

BTW, if you are coming in from outta town and have never been to the Biltmore House, it is really close and a worth-while experience any time of year :)

Has anyone been to the grounds where the festival is happening?..if so, what is the lay of the land?..reason being, that my friend, Betty has never seen the band and she has lung problems and can't climb hills so if it's flat enough, she will get to come see them...

Familiar with any place that would have a good rate for 7 nights?  Need a backup plan in case my timeshare isn't available.  And yes, legs, a stool would be handy <lol>! :%

So far planning on being there, not sure where I will be staying.  Although there is a small chance I cant make it, seems like the high school reunion committee wants to try and have ours in the summer.
