Few things are more embarrassing than the requisite old photo of you and your best girl friend in ripped jeans, puffy painted oversize t-shirts, wigwam socks, BK sneakers, with enough plastic and rubber jewelry to sink a battleship, all topped off with a side ponytail, crimped, and tied with a neon green scrunchie! (but it's always good for a laugh...and I did enjoy most of the 80s. Spandex was usually a good thing back then,  ) |

guess in our area we luckilly missed all that, it was just reebok pump sneakers, metal or grunge music tshirts, plaid shirts tied around your waste and cargo pants.
i had a friend who woar mc hammer pants but I even thought those were lame back then, ( i was guilty of wearing the neon colored clothing back then like baseball hats or swimming trunks but thats not too bad.
