Morning misfits,
Well its grand to be back home, for once we have come back to nice weather....good Scottish temps as well....none of this sweat you a** off in the 90% humidity!!!
We are gonna enjoy a couple of weeks of down time before we catch another flight but this time in the other direction, Italy bound we are. This should be fun, if my memory serves me right we have only been out to Italy once before so am right up for this one...good food, GREAT WINE,friendly people....i just hope we don't have to leave Donald behind again
That last tour was probally one of the hardest i have taken part in, mentally that is....i think we got rained out on 3 different weekends...that just plain and simple kicks the arse out of it...crowds just pack up and head home....that ain't no good for a band that depends on selling merch to make its money...so that aspect of it was grim.
There were some highlights, Greenville, Glen Rock to name a couple and as always the folks we hang with and share good times with never fail to lift the spirits.....people with fantastic never "emptying" coolers....blue ones....grey ones...
As always we like to thank friends who like to take a bullet for the band and dive behind the merch table after we come of stage...sometimes its pretty wild back there....thank goodness you guys are there to take the heat for us!!!
So GFM next....i for one am really glad we are back in our spiritual home for this year...i missed our own grove....missed the big boulder....missed our own crowd...am sure this year will be 100% better than last year, so we are hoping to see as many of you as poss back at the grove.
I'd also like to thank everyone for the love that has been shown to the band....times have been hard what with losing our Brother " big Davie "and our new lead drummer big Colin settling in and doing a BANG UP job i might add... the vibe you guys have given out to us has been amazing....cant ask for better fans the Nach fans!!!
