We've been fencing as well but are considering going up after all. The kids have all claimed they'll die if we don't go. We like our kids. I guess they consider GFM a family tradition that they've grown up with. I guess that puts the Band on equal footing w/ Santa.  |

On the fence as well. I'm considering going to Estes again and with the expense of Scotland in August, and the plane ticket to Colorado, I'm not sure I can swing GFM this year.

Leigh, I may end up taking ya'll up on that...althought, I REALLY think Pappy and I need to get away and go there together...he has been very iffy, and I have been a BEATCH to live with...Was just a huge blow to my psyche...and I don't handle things very well when I don't get my own way  I think he will come around, but good to know I have a backup plan (always!!!!) One way or another, I'll see you on the Mountain, and you need to send me updates on your performances at the end of May...that is ONE thing Pappy REALLY does not want to miss! |

July is a terribly busy month for us. GMHG, family vacation at the beach, an 'alumni weekend' at a tactical shooting school where i blow things up on a regular basis etc etc...and we often have to omit one or more based on time and/or work limits. we just got back from loch norman games last night and the kids were digging the heathen camping we did...that and the stories of marshmallow fights at GMHG have them intrigued. but yeah...i havnt seen the fischers in a while and would love to share a pint and a fire. |
