Just over 1500 so far, which isn't bad going considering it's only been up for about a month - the original petition had about 2,200 signatures after 4-1/2 years!  Still plenty of time so keep spreading the URL around.

Some of you might also care to sign this one:
http://epetitions.scottish.parliament.uk/view_petition.asp?PetitionID=381
asking for a statue to Thomas Muir - google him if you don't know who he was.  The author of that petition is a friend of many of us here and both he and the petition deserve support.

The petition for the return of the Wallace 'Safe Conduct' letter is now heading into its final week before the closing date. I'm sure everyone has came across this already on other sites and various Facebook pages, but please, if you haven't already signed please do so now, and if you have signed,   then pass it onto to any of your family and friends that may help this cause

PLEASE NOTE
The Petition has been extended to the 23rd August 2010(the Date wallace was murdered) to allow the Historians to build a water tight case
so keep the sigantures coming
