So....I made costumes for Patsy and myself. First time making either era. Patsy's suit is Victorian (period pattern) and my gown is 18th century French (Robe a la Francaise, also a period pattern), like Marie Antoinette would wear.
We stared this plan with ample time to complete everything, but then my boss's daughter was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She's 50 and has two young boys. So, I had to pick up a lot of hours in the store (while he was driving back and forth to Boston) and as a result, ran out of time. Both costumes are about 90-95% complete...just really need trim and some seam finishing. My gown is rather plain without the trim, but the silk is gorgeous, picked out by our own Beth.

Please excuse the expressions on my face....these were taken after 7 hours + on my feet, in a corset. In fact, I was about to take it off when I realized we had no pics, so the odd draping of the gown is due to me holding it on where it was previously pinned. I also had about 8 hours of sleep over two days time....so I wasn't very awake. :P
My mask is from Italy...I wore a strip of black fabric over my eyes (saves on makeup application), so in one of the pics my eyes look odd, because of that fabric. lol.
When I finish the last bits and we wear em again, more and better pics will be taken.
