By the way, speaking of frenetic costume changes I was in a show where I had to play a sociopathic drug-dealing female animal of the canine persuasion whose life gets blasted by a wee girl she's been trying to destroy. You howl for my blood in the beginning but that's goo because when you see me trying to fight the holds on my life you start to cheer- the more you hate me, the more you root for me when I fight back. Anyway, I had to morph into a more normal looking person in 5 second costume changes so I wore all 6 costumes at once int he beginning, and peeled them off one by one. In 85 degree outdoor shows that's no fun!!! Worst changing room ever- a small hall with one set of bathrooms and no back stage. We had to go behind the stage, down a long hall, down a flight of stairs, across the parking lot, and change behind some gravestones in the cemetery!!  |
