Aye, the first photie is just outside Arbroath Abbey where the commemoration is held - The Scottish Republican Socialist Movement, Siol nan Gaidheal, Crann Tara and other groups come together and various speeches are made.  Adhamh read the Declaration.  Tam played the pipes.  Then everyone went to the pub and danced and sang to Ted Christopher and Albannach.

I missed it due to work...

Afraid so, nothing else for it...  My old log-in stopped working so it was easier to re-register than mess about.  As you can see we're still up to our capers...  Last Albannach gig I was at was after Sheriffmuir last November where the band played along with Fiery Jack, a really good night!  I think there are a few pictures of that one kicking about somewhere, I'll have a hunt.  How are you doing anyway?

I'm doing fine thanks. You know me, my glass is always more than half full and I'm still amused / bewildered in equal measures by modern life and the human race. 

Do you ever see or hear from Brendan (Jacobite)? He doesn't frequent these parts anymore.

Long story...  Suffice to say we don't see each other much these days.  Decided he'd rather hang about with some people we don't see eye to eye with...

Hmm, the wee North Sea - current weather is about a 5 metre swell and building...  Have you read any of the contributions from morons in the press regarding the current spate of helicopter mishaps?  "Why don't they just use boats?"     24 hours sailing (each way) to our current location in that sort of weather?  Aye, right.  Perhaps when these people have done that a couple of times and let us know how it feels then we'll consider it.  Funny how those who know nothing about certain topics are always experts, eh?   

It'll be a few days before my glass is half full, nae drink oot here!

I'd second the idea of putting the press in a boat in the North Sea Nick, it's a great idea.

I saw the helicopter stuff on the news, tragic.

yeah true enough, percentages of daily flights for aircraft, i'd rather fly than drive, hell even walkin is more hazardous with all the drunks on the road, atleast u can look at your pilot to see if hes 3sheets to the wind, i mean crap happens, if u dont factor in mother nature and equipment failure, crap still happens, wtf do media have to make sensationalistic crap up just for ratings, i think some of main stream media is just as bad as poparazi that hound celebrity, they just are portrayed as upscale and acceptable.
